Yet Another Reason to Clear Your Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) NOW! Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) NOW!
CPTSD & PTSD Explained
Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder occurs when one is repeatedly traumatized usually in one’s childhood, creating much anxiety including panic attacks. Panic attacks cause the individual’s heart to pound, quickens their breathing, with a pressure on the chest that imitates the feeling one may have during a heart attack.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder occurs when an individual experiences a traumatic experience that caused the physical body to go into fight or flight with the symptoms above being experienced.
How Psychological Stress Such As CPTSD & PTSD Can Bring On Cancer
The University of Wisconsin’s Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center, psychological stress found that negative emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, guilt, and shame significantly lower the immune system. When one has lower immunity cancer cells develop and spread. More importantly to those who have CPTSD or PTSD, there is also a direct correlation between cancer and CPTSD & PTSD. In one research study, one in four women diagnosed with breast cancer also has PTSD. The National Cancer Institute also recognizes when one receives a cancer diagnosis itself creates PTSD in many patients.
Now that you understand that both stress and a negative mental or emotional state depresses the immune system we will explain how and why you can use 4 Tools to heal the trauma while turning negative emotions into positive emotions to stop cancer metastasis from occurring and ridding yourself of cancer.
Barbara Frederickson, a social psychologist, calls the turning of negative emotions into positive emotions the “broaden and build theory” of positive emotions. She points out that negative emotions create a “stiffening” sensation physically and energetically, while positive emotions create an expansion on all levels. Given the mind-body connection as the mind becomes open to the possibility of healing the physical body follows going into healing mode.
Now that you understand why healing your CPTSD & PTSD are so important to your overall health and wellbeing I am going to share 4 Tools to empower you to raise your emotions to support you in keeping your body healthy.
4 Tools to Upgrade Your Emotions
1. Gratitude & Forgiveness
Research demonstrates that forgiveness is linked to a reduction in psychiatric disorders such as major anxiety and clinical depression and even correlates forgiveness to lower rates of death. One reason why forgiveness is so healing is because when you forgive, you also let go of long-standing feelings of anger and resentment. Medical professionals often refer to anger as the “toxic emotion” because of its direct correlation to illness and disease. A University College of London study conducted in 2009 reported that unresolved anger and hostility lead directly to heart disease.
A simple dictionary definition of meditation is the “Practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.”
The most studied and most simple form of meditation is called Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction, developed by Jon Kabot-Zinn, a scientist and meditation teacher. There have been many studies on this type of meditation. A 2013 study at the Danish Cancer Research Center included women aged 18–17 who were diagnosed with breast cancer using mindfulness-based stress reduction meditation statistically reduced the symptoms of cancer after a 6-month follow-up and again after a 12-month follow-up. The reason for these great results is that meditation can illicit the “relaxation response.”
Multiple other studies have shown that meditation can:
Calm the heart rate
Lower blood pressure
Encourage the production of healing hormones
Boost immune function
Unblock stuck energy bringing deep emotions and often the memories that come with them to the surface allowing the trauma to come up to be healed.
How to Do Mindfulness Meditation:
You are simply going to be present accepting whatever is happening in the moment. Whatever emotions may come up while practicing mindfulness, you simply let them be with non-attachment and gentle observation.
3. Visualization (A form of Hypnotism)
Visualization is a meditation where one uses visualization to set an intention of actively eliciting positive thoughts and feelings. Imagine the ‘end result’ or the goal of the healing on all levels body, mind, and spirit .
Visualization works by putting the brain in an alpha or theta brain wave state which automagically lowers stress responses eliciting the “relaxation response.”
Guided imagery (GI) is a type of visualization where a person is “guided” to imagine a particular scenario, usually through a series of connected pleasant scenes that illicit a relaxed, open state. Guided imagery visualization is normally conducted via audio, video, or live with the help of a hypnotist.
A joint study from 2018 by Queensland University of Technology in Australia and Leeds Becket University in the U.K. found that nature-based guided imagery was the most helpful in individuals with moderate anxiety.
4. Other Types of Hypnotism & Neurolinguistic Programming
When a person is in a hypnotic trance their brain waves are lowered to the same degree that one is in a meditative state. This is a physiological method of letting go of stress as one is in a very relaxed state. One can never be in a relaxed state and stressed at the same time. As a professional hypnotist, I am able to use hypnotic techniques to go back to when the CPTSD or PTSD began and find the initial cause that it developed. In so doing there are methods to clear it out, just using your innate ability to reprogram your mind to let it go, quickly and easily.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a form of ‘waking hypnosis’ where we are able to help you to reframe the negative thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs that you have that are harming you, into positive constructive thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs to help you to reach your goals easily, quickly, like in a few minutes, and forever.
Some Techniques of Neuro-Linguistic Programming to Help You Reach Your Goals
1. Bringing your subconscious/unconscious mind and your superconscious/higher conscious mind together so they can work together to bring you healing. Most people will see a hypnotist, as the late great Dr. Milton Erickson explained, to accomplish the two minds working together.
2. We can easily desensitize the traumatic events that caused the CPTSD & PTSD. Again it is done by using one’s innate ability to imagine the scenes, and by quickly repeating the scenes at quicker and quicker speeds while you are in a dissociated state — meaning you are looking at yourself outside the scene you are able to desensitize each of the events in a matter of minutes.
3. Anchoring the great feelings you have once you achieved your goal
4. Future pacing you to achieving your goals so that you automagically bring them into reality
5. Releasing negative behaviors
And many more….
There is no need to allow CPTSD or PTSD to continue negatively affecting your life. Further, there is no need to allow it to develop to the point where your immune system is failing you allowing cancer cells to multiply causing you, even more, pain and distress and even loss of your life. It is best to get the CPTSD or PTSD out of your life once and for all allowing you to live a happy, contented, fulfilled life. By using these techniques you are well on your way to achieving great health and wellbeing, giving you a quality of life that is definitely worth living.
