Lessons From H.S. Drop Out Turned Millionaire Bob Proctor

Today we are going to learn some very important life lessons From Bob Proctor who was interviewed by Lewis Howes on his podcast “The School of Greatness’ back in February. Bob Proctor is an 86-Year-Old man who was thrown out of high school in his first 2 Months & then went on to become a multimillionaire teaching others how to create multiple streams of income.

The question to be answered is how to create the life of your dreams while we live in a world of negativity and seeming chaos all around us?

During these days where one is put into the emotional place of fear — if one bothers to listen to the news and their government, one needs to understand that that one cannot be controlled by the outside occurrences EVER. One has to take control of their own mind and what it is that they are thinking. Because it is within your own mind that you will either create a mind of prosperity or one of scarcity. This is certainly not a new message for those who read my post and follow my work — and it is timeless!

Bob noted that all the people who will ever be known for being successful were indeed persistent. And, they were people who were growing through study. One who is not growing is one who is withering away.

Your unconscious mind learns through repetition so this is how one programs their mind either through the negativity of the news or through engaging in learning how to be better at that which you are currently doing, professionally speaking.

However, one needs to understand that though making money is something that most humans need to do in order to take care of their basic needs, it is not the earning of money that is ever going to sustain anyone. Rather, it is through the income creation in doing what you most love to do, going to work for the SATISFACTION that it brings you that your life will be a success.

Bob noted: Human beings have 6 higher faculties that other animals do not which allow us to do amazing things when we learn how to use them well. Here are the 6 higher faculties of the human mind:

1.Perception

2. The Will

3. Reason

4. Imagination

5. Memory

6. Intuition

They are all equally valuable — take your imagination — nothing is created or destroyed — Bob’s family didn’t have a phone when Bob was a kid — not everyone could have a phone. At that time no one knew of the infinite number of frequencies.

The good that we desire is already — it is on a frequency — stay on that frequency and you will attract everything you want. One only needs the will to do it.

Place one idea on the screen of your mind to the exclusion of all distractions. Take yourself to the point where you have already accomplished your goal — stay there in your imagination — you will attract everything necessary to achieve your goal.

Note: We don’t work for the goal — we work FROM the goal.

The largest problem that people have is that they are stuck in their past instead of creating their future the way they want it. One has to work from the endpoint of the goal, which most people never learn to do. So, the question is:

How will you know that you have succeeded in meeting your goal?

What is the very last thing that needs to occur to know that you have attained it?

Work backward from there and then you will have the best guide in how to get there.

Yes, you will make mistakes and need to iterate along the way — and you will get there. It will be in divine timing — so that is where the persistence comes in.

Bob’s Repetitive Habits:

1. He has a Goal Card and touches it every day. — it paints a picture with words. When writing it out the goal goes into the root cells in the brain. When he touches it, the energy goes through his body and the picture goes on a screen in his mind. His current goal is: “I have earned $100 Million in business” His companies haven’t done that yet. Note: Always write the goal card in the present tense.

2. Bob writes down 10 Things he is grateful for every day — written and read every day.

Gratitude: in the book, “The Science of Getting Rich” The entire process of mental process and atonement can be summed up in one word “Gratitude.” Whenever you feel troubled that is a mental problem — you need a mental adjustment to overcome the trouble. Gratitude opens up the channel to supply -which is the higher power — the spiritual entity.

3. Bob consciously thinks about how he can help people — something that he can do to help somebody else.

Emerson said that the “The Law of Cause and Effect is the mother of all laws. Whatever you put out will come back to you.”

“When you learn how magic works, it isn’t magic, but when you learn how your mind works, that’s real magic.’

Bob’s Biggest Challenge Face Today:

He gets caught up in the minutia and news that is going around us — it’s stupid and he shouldn’t when he realizes it he gets away from it.

You need to replace a bad habit with something that is the opposite and then you take a double jump ahead — getting rid of the bad habit and adding a new habit.

Law of Attraction: is a secondary law. You do attract what you think about. Your thought patterns dictate the vibrations -which brings in the Law of Vibration. Understand that we live in motion — we activate cells in the brain — that sets up a vibration in the mind and body and that dictates what you are going to attract. If in a bad mood — you will attract more bad stuff.

The trick is to keep yourself in a good mood- the vibration is a basic law — you will attract good stuff while in a good vibration. You are attracting what you are in harmony with.

How do you stay in the good vibration while in an environment of stress?

Bob spoke of the Law of Polarity: You can’t have a ‘bad’ without a ‘good’ If you are looking at the bad, that tells you that there is good… start looking for what’s good, and then you will find it. You have to know that there is ALWAYS something good and you have to find it.

It’s really a matter of getting out of the program of ‘bad news’ program — they are in a bad vibration themselves — understanding that you can change it and control it and then you can receive whatever you desire.

Learning: I have to say that I have been studying much of these ideas over the past two decades and what Bob says is true enough. Ever since I learned how to put a goal in my future — which is a teaching of Tad James through Time Line Therapy (R) processes — understanding that what my mind keeps bringing forth as that which I desire most of all, the means to create the outcome have come through in ways that I could never imagine if left to my own devises. Other people have always come in to help just as I have experienced over the last month with the invite to live at and run retreats at the Villa Serena, meeting Dr. Dan, the cardiologists so I could indeed have a credentialed partner who the MDs and DOs would respect and with whom Dr. Dan can interact where I cannot always because I am not credentialed. A week later finding the perfect barter to help with the 5-Day Facebook Clinical event that Dr. Dan and I are putting together. Without Terry Westfawl’s help that would not be happening — or should I say there would be next to no way it would be a success as there are many moving parts to putting on a successful challenge as there are moving parts to running an effective retreat — but to run a retreat you need the people to enroll and show up. So, the fact that these three events all lined up just as I needed them to come together as a function of my own discovering of what my goal was and then focusing on the end result — because, whatever you focus on will indeed come into your future — so make sure it is something that is positive and of service to others and you will have yourself the most fulfilled of lives.
