A Couple of Thoughts for Your Day

I rarely go through my FB feed because I find most of the things posted to be an utter waste of my time. I am not interested in what people are eating, the pets they just adopted or bought, or a bunch of overused memes.

I prefer posts that are thoughtfully written that are original and hopefully written without the use of AI. A person who knows how to write does not need to use AI to write a post. I can honestly tell you it takes me about 10 minutes to write a post and then I need to edit them which takes another 10 minutes.

So, I do not waste my time looking through any of my social media feeds. I do not have a lot of time to waste because I have many responsibilities to my clients and to myself and my larger goals in life.

Today I went through my FB feed and saw two posts of any interest to me at all in the many I scrolled through.

One was a post of a photo my brother-in-law took of my younger sister shoveling the considerable amount of snow off the stairs leading up to their home in N.H. I gather that he was unable to do it having some health issues, though to tell you the truth I really do not know what is going on with him. He is significantly older than she is and that is about all I know. Apparently, they lost power for a few days, something that has ever happened in the 27 years she lived in that house as my brother-in-law put it. And, people wonder why I wanted out of New England! My body hates the cold so why live in misery for so many months out of the year? Hell, it is usually in the high 50s to mid-60s here and I still find it a bit cold for me — unless I am in the sunshine which is very warm and wonderful here in Albania.

There was another post that one of my hypnotist colleagues posted with a question about how one is able to make something happen even if it feels like it is getting away from you?

This is one of the questions that I answer for my clients all the time because many of them are in precarious positions due to people they got involved with that they never should have for the abuse that they experienced.

So, how do you make something happen? There are 2 questions that you must ask yourself:

1. What do I really want?
2. Who do I know that can help me make it happen even against all odds?

These two questions have helped me find my way to many foreign countries for travel, training, and bringing my work to the developing world in Africa on a couple of different occasions. It also helped me learn how to create a great podcast with the music and intro, etc so it is a professionally created piece of work. I have found myself learning how to write papers with the APA format on subjects that I knew nothing about — sometimes I just need to trust that I found the material I needed to write a great paper because great papers that receive a great grade are very fulfilling to receive for one’s efforts. And, of course how to navigate myself across the world on several occasions while making friends along the way.

There are too many people who never believe that they can make the ‘illogical’ happen as the Kabbalist put it. However, a life without bringing in the illogical is a life less than half lived so far as I am concerned.

If you think about the people of the many centuries who have done the most incredible things no matter if it was an adventure, inventing something the ‘logical’ world said was impossible, or creating a great world for the services that were rendered, it all happened because someone had a dream and they found the people that could help them make it a reality — pure and simple.

What are the amazing dreams that you can most certainly make happen that you have yet to even start on because you are being ‘logical?’

So get off your butt and create your life the way that you have been dreaming for it to be forever…because until you actually start journaling about what you want and allow that amazing subconscious mind to come up with the person or people that can help you, along with you next steps, you will die with a lot of regrets and there is no reason to even go in that direction — absolutely none!
